  • Age-Group Modifiers: Precise adjustments for all 10 official age brackets (17-21 through 62+)
  • Promotion Point Integration: Automatic conversion to the 0-130 PPW scale
  • Physical Demand Categories: Instant classification into Heavy, Significant, or Moderate categories

What Most Calculators Don't Explain

Before you rely on your calculated score, understand these often-overlooked factors:

  1. Single Event Failure: Scoring 59 or below on any single event results in overall test failure—regardless of your total score.
  2. Time Format Precision: The Sprint-Drag-Carry and 2-Mile Run use reverse scoring—lower times = higher scores. Many calculators handle this incorrectly.
  3. Promotion Points Are Non-Linear: The 360-600 to 0-130 conversion isn't perfectly linear. Our engine accounts for the Army's actual point tables.
  4. MOS Requirements Vary: Physical demand categories affect your MOS qualification independently of pass/fail status.

Frequently Asked Questions

The ACFT score is calculated by adding the points from all six events. Each event is worth 0-100 points, for a maximum total of 600 points. You must score at least 60 points on each event and achieve a minimum total of 360 points to pass.
The minimum passing score is 360 total points, with at least 60 points on each individual event. Failing any single event results in an overall failure, regardless of total score.
ACFT scores convert to promotion points on a scale of 0-130. A score of 360 equals 0 promotion points, while a perfect 600 equals 130 promotion points. The conversion formula is: Promotion Points = ((Total Score - 360) / 240) × 130.
Yes, the scoring tables include gender-specific adjustments. While the events are the same, the point values for specific performances differ between males and females to account for physiological differences.
There are three categories: Moderate (360-449 points), Significant (450-539 points), and Heavy (540-600 points). These categories may affect MOS qualification requirements.
Yes, alternate aerobic events (2.5-mile walk, 12,000m stationary bike, 1,000m swim, or 5,000m row) may be used instead of the 2-mile run for Soldiers with permanent profiles. The plank is the standard core event.
This calculator uses the official Army scoring standards from FM 7-22 (updated for 2026). Results match the official ACFT scoring tables. However, always verify scores with your unit using official Army resources.
